Spaceman is Pragmatic Play's astronaut-themed crash game, launched on 24 March 2022. This page lists the figures the provider and independent listings publish for it, links each one to its source, and is plain about what a player can and cannot check about how a round is produced.

Every listing we checked gives 96.5%, except one crypto-casino review (win.gg) that shows 95%. We found no sign that Pragmatic Play lets casinos pick a different RTP setting for Spaceman, so this site works with 96.5% and a 5,000x ceiling.

One astronaut, one crash point

When a round starts, the astronaut lifts off at 1.00x and the multiplier keeps rising until he stops and drifts off. Spaceman is multiplayer, with shared chat and round statistics, so that stopping point is the same for everyone in the round. Cash out before it and you receive your stake times the multiplier on screen; stay in and the stake is gone. How long the astronaut has already been climbing tells you nothing about where he will stop.

Is Spaceman provably fair?

Not in the way the term is normally used for crash games. Pragmatic Play's launch copy calls Spaceman an "RNG title" and also mentions "provably fair mechanics", yet neither the provider nor any review we found documents a server seed, client seed, nonce or hash that a player could use to recompute a round. In practice:

  • The crash point comes from Pragmatic Play's random number generator on its own servers.
  • There is no in-game screen where you can check a finished round against a hash published in advance.
  • We could not find a public test-lab certificate for Spaceman itself.

A tool or app that claims to "verify" Spaceman rounds with seeds is describing something the game does not expose. Your real safeguard is the casino's licence: in regulated markets RNG games have to pass testing before they go live, so pick an operator whose licence number you can look up.

Reading the 96.5% figure

RTP is an average over a very large number of rounds and players: about 96.5 of every 100 units staked are paid back and 3.5 are kept. The same edge shows up in each target. Under this RTP a 2x cash-out succeeds roughly 48.25% of the time and a 10x one roughly 9.65%. One evening can land far above or below that. The Spaceman RTP article works through the arithmetic, and the calculators apply it to your own stake.

Half cash-out and two bets

Spaceman's best-known feature is the 50% cash-out: you bank half your stake at the current multiplier and let the other half keep riding. There is an automatic version of it next to the normal auto cash-out, and you can place two bets in the same round. From everything published, these options only split your money across different exit points. They do not move the crash point itself.

About the data on this site

The results, records and dataset here come from a model of the published 96.5% RTP with a 5,000x cap. They are not recorded from casinos. The methodology page explains the model and where it differs from the live game.
